Hey, fellow gym-lovers and thanks for stopping by.
Today we’re going to be focussing on running a Cardarine cycle, with the aim of telling you as much about this powerful compound as possible.
As anybody who has ever lifted weights will tell you, the easy part is the training in the gym.
The hard part is recovering when you’re training with the intention of packing on some quality muscle mass while staying lean in the process.
Building muscle is hard.
Burning fat is hard.
Doing both simultaneously, however, is something that only a select elite few will ever do.
This is one reason why steroid cycles are so popular, and it’s why we’re looking at running a Cardarine cycle in today’s article.
If you’re looking to build muscle and are willing to use performance enhancing compounds, Cardarine could be exactly what you need.
It isn’t easy, however, and it won’t happen overnight.
If you are truly serious about building muscle and getting in shape, you need to be in it for the long-haul.
You could potentially see some truly phenomenal gains.
Here’s a look at a typical Cardarine cycle.
Anabolic steroids are very dangerous.
They have claimed lives in the past, they have caused irreversible damage to users in the past, and they are also illegal.
We, therefore, with good conscience, could never recommend their use to others.
We know, however, that people have used steroids in the past, despite knowing the risks, and that they will do the same in the future.
We would much rather people knew how to take steroids correctly, which is why we’ve compiled this guide today.
What Is Cardarine (GW-501516)?
Cardarine (GW-501516) is a relatively new drug compared with other steroids, as it was created back in the early 1990s, 1992 to be precise.
Like other types of steroids, the drug initially started out life in the medical industry, as it was created to help treat numerous cancers, and to help reduce dangerous LDL cholesterol in the body.
The drug was developed by Glaxo Smith Kline to prevent the growth and development of cancerous tumors in the body, with the added bonus of helping to regulate cholesterol.
In the body, we have two types of cholesterol.
We have LDL cholesterol and HDL cholesterol.
LDL cholesterol is the dangerous cholesterol responsible for blocked arteries, strokes, heart attacks, and so on.
HDL cholesterol is actually very beneficial as it lowers harmful LDL cholesterol and promotes numerous other aspects of general health and well-being in the process.
In the 90s it was used purely for medical reasons.
In the 2000s however, it fell onto the radars of athletes and bodybuilders.
They found that the drug sped up lipid metabolization, which in simple terms means that it speeds up the rate in which your body burns fat and converts it into energy.
This is very beneficial because it meant that people could burn off body fat, lose weight, and improve their athletic performance and endurance in the process.
How Does It Work?
This is where things get a little scientific, so bear with us.
Cardarine (GW-501516) is NOT a SARM.
Some people claim that it is but it isn’t.
A SARM is a Selective Androgen Receptor Modulator, whereas Cardarine is actually a Peroxisome Proliferator-Activated Receptor or PPAR for short.
There, I bet everything now makes perfect sense, doesn’t it?
Don’t worry, we’ll try to make things a little clearer.
PPARs work in a very similar way to SARMs, except they have one distinct difference.
That difference is that they target androgen receptors which help to stimulate glucose metabolization in the muscle tissues.
So, the glucose that the muscle cells receive, is instantly converted into energy, rather than being stored in the form of body fat for use at a later date.
Cardarine Cycle Info
So, we now know what Cardarine is, and how it works, but how can you utilize it if you want to benefit from the powerful anabolic benefits this drug provides.
Well, it all depends on what you want to use it for.
If you want to use Cardarine (GW-501516) for performance-enhancing purposes, for a first-time cycle, a cycle should last 4 weeks, and you should consume 10mg/ml per day.
If this isn’t your first cycle, you could instead go with 20mg/ml per day for 4 weeks.
For bodybuilding purposes, I.E if you are cutting for a contest, a cycle should last 4 – 6 weeks.
During these 4 – 6 weeks, you should consume 20mg/ml per day, split into two dosages.
So, you should consume 10mg/ml in the morning, and 10mg/ml in the evening.
So, just to make things crystal clear, dosages should look something like:
Athletic purposes 1st time cycle – 10mg/ml for 4 weeks
Athletic purposes for a 2nd cycle or more – 10/20mg/ml for 4 weeks
Bodybuilding cycle – 20mg/ml per day for 4 – 6 weeks (10mg/ml AM and 10mg/ml PM)
There are plenty of benefits associated with using this drug.
A few prominent advantages include:
One reason why this drug is so popular in the world of bodybuilding is that of the act that it does indeed promote fat loss.
As mentioned, the drug has been found to enhance Lipid metabolization, which means that it does indeed speed up the rate in which your body takes stored body fat and converts it into energy.
Bodybuilders often use this supplement when they are prepping for a contest, as it fits very well into a cutting stack.
When the aim is to burn fat, preserve strength and muscle, and not suffer from energy crashes, Cardarine is indeed extremely useful.
Lowers LDL Cholesterol
A lot of steroids, however, actually increase LDL cholesterol, which is very dangerous.
Cardarine is a drug which has been found to lower harmful LDL cholesterol and boost healthy HDL cholesterol.
That means that the drug can potentially help people to avoid suffering from heart attacks, cardiovascular disease, strokes, blocked arteries, and much more besides.
It’s rare that performance-enhancing drugs actually promote cardiovascular health and well-being, but that is precisely what Cardarine appears to do, making it very popular.
Increased Athletic Outputs
When people are cutting down and trying to lose weight, they obviously need to reduce their caloric intakes in order to create a calorie deficit.
Unfortunately, a caloric deficit often means a loss of energy and strength.
When people are dieting on fewer calories than their bodies are accustomed to, they experience energy crashes, they feel weak.
They feel tired and lethargic, and their strength levels plummet.
Cardarine however, is a drug which not only promotes fat loss, but it is one which also helps to increase energy levels.
Athletes discovered that Cardarine worked better than any pre-workout formula currently available at the time as it gave them plenty of energy, which lasted for hours on end.
From an athletic standpoint, the benefits are pretty obvious.
Cognitive Health Benefits
Another potential benefit associated with Cardarine, which is often overlooked, both by users of the drug and by medical experts, is the fact that it could potentially help protect the brain and provide cognitive health benefits.
You see, studies conducted on animals have found that Cardarine can help to significantly reduce the amount of oxidative stress placed on brain cells and blood vessels within the brain.
PPAR activators have also been found to enhance the development of neurotransmitters and nerves within the brain.
While the jury is still out as to whether or not Cardarine can provide cognitive health benefits to human beings, research is looking very positive.
In theory, Cardarine could promote mental focus, concentration, memory, and can even potentially protect against degenerative diseases affecting the brain.
As mentioned, Cardarine has been found to reduce LDL cholesterol within the human body.
This cholesterol is responsible for the build-up of fatty deposits within the arteries.
When these build ups become too large in volume, arteries become blocked.
The fatty deposits overtime can calcify and turn to plaque, which completely blocks off the arteries, which then results in heart attacks and other cardiovascular issues.
Cardarine helps to promote Nitric Oxide production, which has vasodilating properties.
This basically means that it causes the blood vessels to expand, which in turn boosts circulation.
In animals, Cardarine has even been found to prevent oxidative stress and damage to the blood vessels, so again, issues such as cardiovascular disease, stroke, heart attack, and more, can potentially be avoided.
Great For Cutting
If you’re looking to cut weight for a bodybuilding contest or photo shoot, but don’t want to use anabolic-androgenic steroids, Cardarine is a very viable consideration.
Cardarine, as mentioned, helps to speed up the rate in which we convert calories and fat in the body into energy.
It boosts the metabolism allowing you to burn fat, preserve muscle, and still enjoy plenty of energy in the process.
The idea behind a successful cut is, of course, to burn fat and preserve muscle, or even build muscle if possible, and Cardarine can potentially help you to do exactly that.
It doesn’t work miracles.
If you want to see impressive results you need to be willing to diet, perform cardio, and put in the work.
If you do, however, you’ll quickly notice some very pronounced results.
No PCT required
Cardarine is NOT a steroid, nor is it a SARM.
Therefore, there is no need for anybody to run a course of post cycle therapy.
This is very beneficial for a lot of people.
Does that mean that Cardarine is completely free of side effects?
Of course not.
It does, however, mean that the drug is nowhere near as powerful or as risky other forms of anabolic steroid out there.
Cardarine Side Effects
As we just looked at above, when you run a Cardarine cycle, at the end of it there is no need for PCT because it isn’t a steroid.
It is still a very powerful compound, however, and it can still provide a number of potential side effects.
These include, but are not limited to the following:
Potential Liver Damage
This is perhaps the most concerning potential side effect associated with this drug.
Even though it is much safer than most anabolic steroids currently on the market, one primary concern is that in mice, it has been found to damage the liver.
Studies are still ongoing as to whether or not it could possibly cause the same levels of damage to the human liver, but it is certainly worth considering.
Potential Digestive Issues
Another possible side effect of this drug is potential digestive issues.
Some users reported mild stomach aching and stomach cramps, whereas others have experienced bowel trouble, with constipation and/or diarrhea being the most common.
Is PCT Required?
If you were paying attention to us earlier on in this article, you would no doubt have noticed how we mentioned that post cycle therapy, or PCT for short was NOT required.
This is because Cardarine (GW-501516) is NOT a steroid.
PCT is often run after a steroid cycle to help minimize the risks associated with using these potent compounds.
A Cardarine cycle, however, is very different from a steroid cycle and therefore PCT is not required.
