Aromasin PCT: Dosage, Side Effects And More

Aromasin PCT

What’s up guys and gals.

Today we’re going to talk about something a little different.

Rather than discussing ways in which you can get big and jacked, today we’re looking at Aromasin PCT and at what you can do to stay fit and healthy after using anabolic steroids.

PCT is a topic that is very underrated and not nearly explored enough, and we intend to change all of that.

When you think of steroids, there are certain images that spring to mind.

Most of us picture the huge pro bodybuilders gracing the stages at some of the world’s most prestigious bodybuilding contests, and for good reason.

The human body is simply not naturally designed to bulk up to 300 pounds when you stand at under 6-feet in height.

Some steroids, however, barely allow you to gain any significant muscle at all.

Instead, they’re designed to improve your athletic performance and speed up recovery.

Enormous bodybuilders carrying heaps of muscle at 5% body fat are almost certainly on steroids, although relatively skinny athletes like a certain Lance Armstrong are also on steroids, and the results are very different.

Whether you choose to use steroids to bulk up, to burn fat, improve athletic performance, or speed up your rates of recovery, however, it’s vital to ensure that you run a course of post cycle therapy, or PCT, after your cycle has ended.

For this reason, we’re looking at Aromasin today.

For safety reasons and legal reasons, we do not advise you to use anabolic-androgenic steroids or any other illegal substances or compounds for that matter.

Not only could you wind up in trouble with the law, but you could also potentially damage your health, or even lose your own life.

We do not condone the use of steroids, nor do we recommend their use, but we know that people are going to use them either way.

We’d much rather they did so safely.

That’s why we’re looking at Aromasin in today’s article.

What Is PCT And Why Is It Important?

PCT, or Post Cycle Therapy, is an essential component of any androgenic anabolic steroid (AAS) cycle.

It’s crucial, yet there are many bodybuilders out there that choose to ignore it after running a course of steroids and hope for the best.

When you use steroids, you’re basically changing your entire biological and cellular makeup internally.

You alter your hormones, you alter cell counts, you alter how your cells behave, you damage your organs, you cause your organs to work harder and perform different tasks, and much more besides.

Needless to say, this is hardly considered to be healthy.

After you finish using steroids, everything in your body is different from how it was before you started your cycle.

The idea of PCT is basically to restore everything back to normal and to help you to avoid potentially debilitating side effects.

As an example, steroid use can interfere with the natural production of testosterone.

Sometimes steroid use can shut down testosterone production completely.

PCT basically kick-starts the entirely natural process of testosterone production once more.

It’s the equivalent of restarting a computer or smartphone, except you’re restarting your body.

Many people also fail to realize that PCT actually helps to prevent muscle loss and muscle wastage as it helps you to stay in an anabolic state, even after you’ve finished using steroids.

The longer you can hold onto your precious gains, the better.

PCT such as Clomid and Nolvadex enables you to avoid common side effects associated with steroid use and abuse.

Aromasin is a very common form of PCT, which is why we’re looking at it in more detail today.

What Is Aromasin PCT?

Aromasin is a drug that belongs to a family known as aromatase inhibitors, or AIs for short, such as Arimidex too.

Here is our article about Aromasin Vs Arimidex.

That’s right, AIs, in this case, aren’t examples of artificial intelligence, but rather they’re examples of drugs that help to prevent a process known as aromatization.

AIs are anti-estrogen drugs, which means that they help to prevent common estrogenic side effects.

We’ll look at estrogenic side effects in more detail a little later on.

Let’s just say for now, however, that estrogenic side effects are a bodybuilder’s arch-nemesis.

To make matters even more complicated, there is also another sub-category of anti-estrogen drugs.

This time, they’re known as SERMs or Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulators.

Aromasin is the brand name for a drug known as Exemestane and it too is an anti-estrogen drug.

Primarily, however, the main difference between these drugs is how they are able to control and regulate estrogen levels in the body.

When people look for AIs after running a course of steroids, they often turn to Armidex.

Despite this, there is evidence to suggest that Aromasin is, in fact, a great deal more beneficial and effective.

Aromasin PCT For Men:

We just mentioned how Armidex is often favored over Aromasin when it comes to PCT, and we can’t quite understand why that is.

Aromasin is one of the most effective anti-estrogen drugs currently on the market.

It can reduce estrogen in the body by as much as 85%.

This isn’t just some ridiculous claim made by the manufacturers to help them sell more of the drugs either.

It is a scientific fact backed up by heaps of research.

So how exactly does it work?

Well, to cut a long story short, it binds to aromatase enzymes in the body and basically disables them permanently.

This is a very important benefit because as they have been permanently disabled, it ensures that there is no risk of an estrogen rebound from occurring.

Estrogenic side effects associated with steroid use include things like: Gynecomastia, water retention, organ damage, and much more besides.

Aromasin for men, therefore, can help to significantly improve your health and well-being after running a course of anabolic steroids.

Aromasin PCT

Aromasin PCT Effects:

Now it’s time for us to look at some of the more prominent benefits associated with Aromasin after a steroid cycle.

These include, but are not limited to:

Prevents Gynecomastia

Gynecomastia for men is a very nasty side effect associated with anabolic steroid use.

It isn’t considered to be life-threatening, but it can certainly make life miserable for those who happen to be afflicted by it.

Gynecomastia is a side effect of steroid use which causes a man to develop female breast tissue.

In extreme cases, he will develop breasts, but more often than not, he will simply develop puffy and swollen nipples that are sometimes tender to the touch.

This condition is caused when testosterone in the body interacts with aromatase enzymes and aromatizes, which means that it is converted into Estrogen.

Estrogen is basically the female equivalent of testosterone, and the less of this hormone a bodybuilder has in his system, the better.

Aromasin basically prevents aromatization from occurring, which means that it can prevent steroid users from suffering from gynecomastia.

This in itself is a very prominent benefit because gyno can only be treated and reversed with surgery.

No Bloating

Some steroid users also find themselves suffering from extreme bloating and water retention after ending a cycle.

This is again thanks partially to Estrogen.

Estrogen is a hormone that promotes severe water retention and bloating.

Some cycles can cause such extreme bloating and water retention in fact, that bodybuilders can look puffy and out of shape.

Imagine working your butt off in the gym for several months, eating bland and tasteless meals to try and build muscle and burn fat, only to find yourself looking out of shape because you’re carrying so much water and are feeling so bloated.

Promotes Positive Testosterone Levels

As mentioned, sometimes when men use steroids, they use dosages that are so high, that they literally shut down their natural testosterone production.

This is a massive problem as soon as they come off cycle.

Testosterone is not only important for muscle growth and repair, but it’s also essential for countless other physiological processes within the human body.

Testosterone boosts your sex drive, it increases the prominence of your erections, it promotes fertility, it boosts energy levels, it provides cognitive benefits, and much more besides.

Put simply, having a testosterone deficiency is a big problem.

When men use steroids, the drugs themselves mimic the effects of testosterone.

Some steroids are actually forms of testosterone.

The brain detects abnormally high levels of testosterone and thinks that something is wrong.

It tells the testes to stop producing testosterone immediately.

Unfortunately, what often happens is that the body then fails to produce the hormone naturally again.

A lot of steroid users have to receive testosterone injections from their doctors.

Aromasin not only helps to ensure that your testosterone production levels naturally recover, but it actually helps to boost testosterone levels too.

This is one reason why this drug helps you to hold onto your gains.

Aromasin PCT Side Effects:

Aromasin is very beneficial for steroid users, as we have just looked at.

The entire idea behind using Aromasin is to promote health and well-being and to prevent side effects and complications arising from steroid use.

However, as beneficial as Aromasin is, it is still risky and it still presents its own risks and dangers.

Here are some common side effects associated with Aromasin.

Dangerously Low Levels Of Estrogen

For men, estrogen is generally not a beneficial hormone.

However, men still naturally produce it and a little is therefore considered beneficial.

There are some concerns that Aromasin does, in fact, reduce estrogen levels too much and that it can cause estrogen levels to drop dangerously low in the body.

When this occurs, all kinds of side effects can occur.

It should be noted that Aromasin can also be used by females, and as estrogen is even more important for women than men, females should execute extreme caution when using the drug.

Promote Bone And Joint Pain Health

After using steroids, there’s a good chance that your bones and joints may hurt anyways, because of the fact that you’ve gained weight in a relatively short amount of time.

Arguably the most common side effect of Aromasin, however, is bone and joint pain.

This is again down to Estrogen.

You see, estrogen is very important when it comes to the mineralization in bone tissue, and bone density.

Because this drug reduces estrogen so much, it can cause joint and bone pain.

Prolonged use could actually cause the bones and joints to become weak and frail, which is very serious.

Muscle Fatigue

This is perhaps the biggest problem associated with Aromasin, especially if you’re looking to hold onto your gains for as long as possible.

Aromasin may indeed help you to avoid all kinds of health risks and complications caused by steroid use, but it also causes fatigue and lethargy.

When you’re looking to hit the gym and work out, there’s nothing worse than feeling tired and run down when you need to exercise.

Because estrogen levels drop so much, it can negatively affect your CNS, and when this happens it’s common to feel tired and run down.

Aromasin Dosage:

Finally, the last section we’re going to look at today is the dosage.

While it depends on which steroid cycle you happen to be running, a typical Aromasin PCT dosage is around 12.5mg and 25mg per day.

Some cycles call for 12.5mg every other day, but again, this all depends on which steroids you happen to be using in your cycle.
